Beckett is Paul's amazingly multi-talented wife. She provided our harmonica tracks, as well as contributing to the final choral chorus of "Urban Legends". But was that enough for her? Oh no. She also designed and laid out our excellent album graphics. And she ought to know about that sort of thing, since she painted the cover paintings for several other filk albums, including those of fellow guest performers Urban Tapestry and Scott Snyder, as well as covers for Cindy McQuillan, Dr. Jane Robinson, and Bob Kanefsky's Roundworm album. Professionally, Beckett is an illustrator for computer games and educational software, and is now breaking into illustration of childrens' books, as well as branching into web design. |
